A few days ago, I had a dream so influential I had to make it a project somehow. Here is the story

A book published in the 1960s, but did not get any influence up until the 1980s. It is a story about an Inuit boy from Alaska whose favorite sled dog was stolen by the Russian government. They then sent the dog to outer space, but after what they assumed was a success, the mission went horribly wrong. It resulted in the space shuttle blowing up, but the dog miraculously survived, floating in space with nothing but the suit on for him to survive. After the boy caught wind of such a tragedy, he was greeted by Santa Claus who gifted him and his other dogs the ability to fly and breathe in space. They then flew out of planet earth to save his best friend and succeeded. The boy, his best friend, and the rest of the dogs then went back to Alaska with no struggle.

The book was published after he recalls a tragic event from his childhood living in Russian born American in which resulted in his loss of his dog. He recalls moving from Tennessee to Russia after his (divorced) father got a good job deal as an accountant. He brought his only son and his pet husky with him. The author recalls struggling to fit in with the kids at his school because of his language barrier, and that he also recalls that his dog would be the only companion in his life to support him.

But then his father was accused of being a spy and so the government gunned down his house, broke everything, and shot the rightfully upset dog after one man tried to pin down the author. He recalls being traumatized for life, losing the only friend he had since the day he was picked up from the streets. He used his trauma as an influence to make the story a reality.

That until the very elderly author went missing way before his story became an accidental hit amongst traumatized Americans.

I want to turn this into an ARG, but I don’t know what to do. I may make a beta website using strawpage to test my knowledge in making an authentic website promoting the book. What do you think? I damn well believe it wouldn’t be a hot like Pendog or Welcome Home but I want to give this ARG a chance.
